We’re excited to spotlight Joshua Shaw, Director of Sales Recruiting at Canadian Solutions for Business (CSB).

Driven by connection and growth, he plays a key role in expanding CSB’s national sales network while empowering distributors across Canada to reach their full potential. With over a decade in the promotional products industry, Josh has built his career on helping others succeed through genuine relationships and deep industry expertise.

From coast to coast, he has guided distributors toward new opportunities by connecting the right products with the right clients. Before joining CSB, Shaw held key national roles with Debco-HPG and Cutter & Buck, where he built trusted partnerships grounded in collaboration.

Known for his responsiveness and people-first mindset, he’s passionate about helping sales professionals grow their business with the freedom and support of CSB’s experienced team and innovative platforms.

How do you define the purpose of your role at CSB?

My role is to show salespeople and businesses how they can be more profitable, scale their business, and be independent while enjoying the support of our experienced team.

What do you enjoy most about working in this industry?

At my core I’m a people person, and the ability to connect with others to learn about their perspectives and projects has always fueled me. We are all lucky to be in an industry that touches every corner of our society and helps to build awareness for brands with products that are interesting, useful, thought provoking, or simply fun!

What keeps you motivated outside of work?

When I’m not working I spend time playing, composing, and recording music, golfing, playing chess, being silly, taking walks with our beloved dog Juni, travelling, and enjoying time with family and friends. My wife and I have been blessed recently with a grandson and I’m really enjoying seeing the world through his eyes, greatest gig ever!
